Invest in the Outdoor Construction Area to create a rich, exciting and well-resourced outdoor construction area for EYFS and KS1 children to enjoy the physical challenges that building and constructing offers.
Designed by our experienced curriculum team, the outdoor shed contains the Building & Construction Resource Collection 3-7yrs, to promote physical development and collaboration. Children’s critical thinking will develop as they work collaboratively to build cars, ships and dens using the building crates, wooden planks & poles and den covers, developing their gross motor and problem solving skills. Combine with the set of steering wheels included to encourage imaginative play. The set of baskets and pulleys will challenge children to create their own functional lifting systems, an excellent team work and problem solving activity for both early years and KS1 children to master!
The set is completed with a child-sized children’s sack cart to support children to independently lift, load and transport resources to their desired spot in the outdoor area.
Resources are stored in one outdoor shed using accessible outdoor containers, supporting children to develop independence, confidence, and the ability to plan and carry out their own ideas. With secure door and floor bolts and a self-sprung lid, children quickly learn how to open the shed and access what they need with ease.
The hard-wearing plastic crates can be placed outside of the shed and do not require storage. If you wish, you can purchase an additional shed for your outdoor construction area to keep the crates contained and organised.

The compact shed is weather resistant and made of high-quality recyclable plastic. It provides a dry and protected space within the outdoor classroom to efficiently store the outdoor construction resources, and it will be assembled on site by our experienced team.

Installation Guidance:
The Compact Store is assembled on site. The store requires a level and even ground or base for the installation team to bolt the store into the ground for additional security and stability.
